How do I reserve a picnic?
Click on the BOOK NOW button in the top right corner of the page or bottom of the page. Once you provide some details of what you wish to have, I will be in touch with you within 48 hours.
What does the day of the picnic look like?
On the day of your picnic, I will bring and setup everything prior to the timed reservation. All you and your guest(s) have to do is come and enjoy! Shortly after the duration of your time reservation, I will begin my tear down and gather everything. Details of the day can change depending on location and type of event. Regardless, I will ensure everything is seamless for you and your guests.
What happens if something breaks?
I want you to be transparent if something were to break or get damaged during a picnic. All the items are my own but I understand accidents happen. If there is damage that seems purposeful, excessive or inexcusable a minimum $50 fee will be applied after damages have been assessed.
What’s included in the picnic?
The following items will be included in your picnic:
Delivery, Set-Up, Tear-Down
Six-Person Table
Bluetooth speaker
Table games
Flowers
Pillows and Blankets
Silverware, Flatware, Goblets
Plate Chargers
Misc decor (candles, vases, etc)
I will work with you to finalize the full list of what is included for your picnic experience.
Do I need to clean up?
I will take care of set up and clean up. I am here to take away the stress of event planning. I want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy your event!
What if I have to cancel or if the weather doesn’t look good?
Any cancellations must be made in writing via youandyourspicnics.cbus@gmail.com with 72 hours notice.
Cancellations with 7 days notice will be available for rescheduling at no-charge, but no refunds will be made.
Day-of cancellations will not be refunded or rescheduled.
If your scheduled picnic is cancelled with 7 days notice (or more) or due to bad weather - you have 3 months from your original picnic date to reschedule.
All bookings are non refundable but I understand that life happens. Please notify me 7 days prior to your booking date to reschedule up to 3 months in advance. If you do not notify us to reschedule and miss your picnic, I will take that as a no show and will not provide a rescheduling opportunity.
Like life, weather happens too! Rescheduling will be allowed for inclement weather conditions. If the forecast predicts rain or extreme winds for the day of your event, then I will give you the opportunity to reschedule the picnic to a future available date (within 3 months of original date) or move to an approved indoor location.
Do we bring our own food?
Yes! Please do! I encourage you to bring your own food, sit back, and relax!
I can provide some recommendations for food vendors, if needed.
Where can I have a picnic?
Currently, I am serving Delaware, Westerville, Lewis Center, Powell, and Dublin. Cities outside of these areas would be considered for an additional travel cost.
I can set up picnics at public parks of your choosing or as easy in your backyard. We can also do indoor picnics so weather isn’t a concern.
Do you serve alcohol?
You and Yours Picnics does not have a license to serve alcohol and will not be held liable for any alcohol related laws and regulations.
